On Wednesday in Maths, we enjoyed solving addition word problems related to poppies growing on the battlefields or counting out the correct amount of poppies to match a number. In English, we followed a set of instructions to make our own poppy or we made hand printed poppies to make a wreath. Then we had two minutes silence to mark our respect at 11 o'clock. In the afternoon some of us created poppies on Purple Mash or we shared our homework which was to design our own poppy.
Mrs Wright has made a lovely display in our classroom which shows all the lovely work we have done and the children were proud to see their work on display this morning. We would like to share some photos with you too.
Well done Class 4, keep up the brilliant work.
