Safeguarding Awareness Week
by Miss Allen, Mrs Watkinson & Mrs Stephenson
It was Odd Socks on Monday so the children (and the staff) came to school in odd socks to show that we are all different but all unique. Each class member completed a different part of a jigsaw to show how we all play a part in being united against bullying. We put all the pieces together to make one large jigsaw.
On Tuesday the children took part in a road safety lesson. They learnt the 4 main rules (stop, look both ways, listen and think) and looked at different hazards in the roads. They loved spotting the different dangers and who was showing good road safety behaviour on the road safety poster.
