We started our science investigation with the stem question 'What will help cotton to stick to ice?' Class 2 started by thinking carefully about what might help cotton to stick to the ice and if this was even possible! Then we went on to try out our fair test by using blutack, masking tape, pepper and salt, each on their own ice cube. To ensure we had a fair test we allowed the same amount of time for each test and used the same length cotton. We were astonished to discover that .... salt helped the cotton to stick to the ice. Take a look at our photographs to see what happened.
