School Uniform

The wearing of a school uniform gives our school its identity and Anston Park Infant School's uniform is set out below.

‘Fully loved’ with Whitewoods! Pre-Loved uniform up for grabs

We understand how quickly our young people grow throughout their time in school, therefore, a clothing rail with pre-loved, clean uniform is available for you to browse and take for yourself or someone you love.

If you have any uniform (red jumpers/sweatshirts/cardigans and navy/dark trousers/skirts/pinafores) and/or coats at home in good condition that no longer fit your child, why not drop these off at the School Office for someone else to use and love?

Before you rush out to spend money on new uniform, please fee free to check our rail first.

We also have a few costumes for school events such as World Book Day which can be "borrowed" and returned, clean, after use.

Outdoor Wear

Children should always bring an outdoor coat to school in case of inclement weather.  The children are outside for a long time during lunchtime and may go outside as part of normal classroom activities.

Footwear

Children are not expected to change into different footwear for use indoors except in bad weather when a change is essential to keep the floor safe and dry and the children comfortable.  We do, however, encourage sensible footwear at all times.

Jewellery

The wearing of jewellery including earrings is discouraged and is not allowed at all during P.E.  If the ears are newly pierced and the parent wishes to keep earrings in their child's ears for a while, then the child must bring plasters to school to cover the earrings.  After six weeks, the child must remove and replace earrings themselves or not wear them on P.E. days.  Please ask the class teacher for P.E. days.
