Online parental ordering system for school milk
For children who wish to have a carton of semi-skimmed milk for morning break, Anston Park Infant School use a company called Cool Milk who deal directly with parents/guardians online. Parents are able to order and pay for milk on a half termly, termly or academic yearly basis to suit your requirements.
Currently, children under the age of 5 can receive free milk at school, funded by the Government’s Nursery Milk Scheme. Parents/guardians of children under 5 who wish to have milk (free) will still need to register with Cool Milk for milk to be ordered to avoid a surplus of milk arriving at school as we have some pupils who choose not to have milk or maybe have a dairy intolerance.
If your child is in receipt of Pupil Premium and is aged 5 and over, milk will be funded by the school from the Pupil Premium grant received. School will register those children for milk directly with Cool Milk.
The cost of milk for children over the age of 5 will be 28p per day and you can register for milk at www.coolmilk.com and select “Register your child for milk here” option on the home page.
After registration, you may then make a pre-payment via your online account for a half term, term, or remainder of the academic year to suit your needs.
All information handled by Cool Milk is processed in accordance with current Data Protection Legislation. The data will be stored securely on Cool Milk’s UK-based servers and will not be passed to third parties other than to UK Government Departments for audit purposes.
Should you have any queries regarding your child’s registration or milk supply in general, please do not hesitate to contact Cool Milk directly on 0800 321 3248 or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Alternatively, please speak to the School Office.
