27.5 hours per week (term time only)

Hours of work:  8.30am – 3.15pm

Fixed term contract required for immediate start initially to 20th July 2022 with a possibility of becoming permanent.

White Woods Primary Academy Trust was established in September 2013 by three self-converting primary schools and has grown rapidly over the past six years. There are now 13 schools in our Trust, all within the borough of Rotherham.

Anston Park Infant  School is an Ofsted rated good school with a highly motivated staff team. We are a school which has creative and curious staff, who are committed to providing a 21st century education for all our pupils, and as such we support opportunities for their professional growth. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring person to join our existing team of Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible working across school to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (“SEMH”) for 27.5 hours per week, term time only.

This is initially a fixed term contract until July 2022 with a possibility of becoming permanent.  The role will include supporting individual pupils, small groups and working alongside Class Teachers.   You should have good numeracy and literacy skills and should have a qualification relevant to the post.

In addition, you should have:

  • Experience of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (“SEND”), particularly SEMH
  • Experience of working with Key Stage 1/EYFS children
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Knowledge and understanding of child development
  • A willingness to work with parents

Visits to the school are encouraged in line with COVID 19 risk assessment guidelines.
